S andy S oliman, born in Queens and raised in the Bronx, has a natural flare that attracts her peers and clients through her creativity, uniqueness, and enthusiasm. This New York City native began her diverse career in event planning at Montclair State University where she took charge and coordinated various campus events, programs for students, awards banquets, faculty meetings, fundraisers and fashion shows for the University. Recognized for her hard work with the student body Sandy was awarded two Purple Heart awards in 2001 by the University and the Residence Life department.
After graduating Montclair State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Sandy went on to be a Clinical Research Consultant for major pharmaceutical companies. With her natural skills in entrepreneurship, she began her own consulting firm, Soliman Consulting Services, in 2001 offering clinical trial management and monitoring services. Clients included Pfizer, Novartis, Aventis, Hoffman LaRoche, PPD International, Berlex Laboratories, and Humanity Health.
Her passion residing in event production and management, she founded Elyte Affairs LLC in 2000. By founding Elyte Affairs, Sandy has been able to obtain a diverse clientele spanning from individuals to corporate organizations. Continuing her work with fundraisers Sandy went on to work with one of the largest non-profit organizations, The Coptic Orphans Association, where she was a volunteer and events manager for their annual northeastern gala.
In early 2007, Style Evolution was born. Sandy realized there's a need in the fashion industry to give proper exposure to new, talented, and upcoming designers. She set out and created a sub-division of Elyte Affairs; Style Evolution, which focuses and produces fashion events spotlighting new designers.
Sandy actively participates in various speaking engagements and presents a variety of topics to many types of audiences. Her extensive experience combined with her bubbly personality captivates her audience.
Sandy is currently a member of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) New York City Chapter and holds the Chair of Special Events and the Chair of Strategic Alliances positions for the chapter, International Special Events Society (ISES), NAACP, Coptic Orphans, and is a volunteer with the New Jersey Red Bank River Center organization. As Sandy continues to spread her wings in the event planning industry, she looks forward to working with you on your next event.
